    hi guys

ok just thought i'd share because i have been reading for a while about other users having bad experiences with 2.0 on the ipod. I downloaded and installed 2.0 onto my 8Gb ipod about 3 hours ago and have been going through everything since then.

the only minor bad points i have come acroiss is that when you enter the settings menu it lags a little on opening but not that big of a deal. second is youtube, it works absoloutly fine for me but it takes a little longer for it to load up videos.

everything else works as it did on 1.1.4 i have had no crashes using apps it hasn't rebooted atol on its own, wi-fi works mail works and so does everything else i always used

i hope that it might have just been bad luck for thos who have had a bad experince with it and hope it gets sorted for you all soon .

    Thanks

it works like a charm for me aswell but the only thing that bothers me is the overall sluggishness of the firmware. especially the keyboard in safari reacts with a delay

Glad to see it's not just me having laggy firmware, e.g. the Settings thing is exactly what I have, + a slow start up if you switch it off. Also, scrolling in a game called Aurora Feint is quite laggy, but not in anything else.

Overall impressions are good though, I like the new search feature for contacts, and you couldn't have the games without the update and some are very awesome including the mentioned Aurora Feint, and Bejeweled has some very nice graphics when you go up a level.

I've had 2.0 for almost a day now, everything from firmware runs great.
I did notice a little lag or slow response to finger on AOL volume slide,
but I guess things like this will get fixed in updates.

Oh, screen capture and remote work great.

I think this is the longest I've been w/out Jailbreak

OK, with WiFi on, you open remote on touch, in Itunes, Devices on left pane, whatever
you named your touch, you will see the icon for remote. click it and enter number.

Note, Devices, name of your Ipod, make sure to expand it.
