2.0 Firmware

    If I buy the upcoming 3G iPhone (Running 2.0) and import it to Canada, will I be able to downgrade the 2.0 firmware to 1.1.4 and unlock, activate, jailbreak etc...

    i dont think so because it is completly diffent iphone so its first firmware will be 2.0 but i am not sure i mostly know about ipod touches not iphones

    For right now, I don't know. I think you might, but that is just in my opinion.

    Wrong again! Right now the 2.0 firmware can not be pwnd or jailbroken.

    I'm sure there will be an unlock/activate/jailbreak for 2.0 when it comes out...

    But anyuway, I think that even if you could downgrade to 1.1.4, you wouldn't get some of the 3G iPhone's features. In that case, why not just get the first generation iPhone? =/

    Yeah i am sure when people get them. They will be unlocked in the first week they are released
