    the JB just won't work.

I have (paid) 2.0 and 2.0.1 ipsw on my computer
    I used Winpwn 2.0.0.3 and now 2.0.0.4
    I created both custom2.0 and custom2.0.1 "ipsw"s

ALWAYS.. the installing of the custom FW fails with an error. "the ipod "ipod" could not be restored..."

I can install the regular ipsws without any problems... why?

    I clicked iPwner...

    My iTunes is 7.7.1.11
Apple Mobile Device Support Version 2.0.1.5 installed.

    Which error is it returning?

Also, make absolute SURE that you are in DFU mode. If it's error 1 or 5, you're not in DFU.

check to make absolute sure you are in DFU, if you don't know, then connect to ZipHone and boot in DFU

Error 6 means you're not in DFU too.

    Well, then Ziphone doesn't work...

I think I am capable of clicking "DFU" and not "Recovery" which is right next to DFU
