2.0 ---1.1.4 ..Please help..

    Ive put my ipod in Recovery Mode where the Itunes n USB cable icon Appear(Am i right???)...Downgraded my Itunes to 7.4...Ipod Firmware 1.1.4 Detected...However...it says it cannot restore...heres the error..
    Unkown Error(20)...
    Mayb i need to downgrade th Baseband...but how in Recovery mode...2.0 sux...I was joyin Jailbroken 1.1.4..Help i want it Back...

    u need i tunes 7.5 and the ipod has to be in DFU mode not recovery to get into DFU shut ipod off press both the home and sleep button for 10 seconds and release the sleep button but keep your finger on the home button untill u here the dings from windows and get the message from itunes that its in DFU(screen should be black if done rite)

    Which Mode is it in...I mean as i mentioned earlier...i used Ziphone to enter into DFU mode on 2.0....and the Itunes+Cable Icon Appears...Thsi is the Recovery or the DFU??

    You have to do it manually with the sleep/home buttons.

    DFU mode is a recovery mode where you DO NOT SEE the connect to iTunes/USB screen... In DFU mode the screen stays black...

    Succes Bro..God bless...Also i read somewhere...u need to downgrade ur Baseband to restore to 1.1.4...Is it true...??

    it cannot be done using ziphone or iliberty to put into DFU it needs to be done manually and i think when you use iliberty to put in to DFU you cant get it out of DFU until you restore it and you can only restore to 2.0 if you used iliberty so what you need to do is restore to 2.0 then downgrade itunes again and put it into DFU manually then u can downgrade to 1.1.4 i was doing the same thing you are and was getting error 20 until i put it in DFU manually

    iliberty if you want safe jailbreak. but no installer

    ziphone much faster (but said to be much more unsafe) but comes with installer

    Any Specific reason for Ziphone being Unsafe??...
