sorry about posting this on this site, but this site seems to have many active knowledgable members compared to other sites

so i just picked up one of the 1st gen ipod's at a flea-market for $40 bucks cuz i was bored and wanted one, it works and is in good condition.... now it has a firewire connection? is there a wire that hooks into the 1st gen ipod, and then can just hook right into a standard USB slot, or do i need to buy the firewire wire, and a USB>firewire connector? thanks

Well, you should be able to buy a firewire connector from the apple.com store. Happy finding!!
