Problem: Well long story short, my ipod touch won't take a charge. I have replaced the battery and still don't want to take a charge. I have unsolder-ed the battery and wired into a usb cord (let it set for about 30min to charged), then soldered it back in and it worked. But then after time the battery would die.

What I am looking to do:
I was wondering if anyone knows how /or where to wire the battery directly. Meaning what I would want to do is, jump the power coming right from the connector on the circuit board, straight to the battery so it will charge. I think there is someone wrong with the controller on the board preventing it to charge, but if I can jump that (Somehow) and link it right too the battery that will cause the battery to charge.

    Any help would be great.
Oh and my ipod touch is out of warranty, and I know my other option is to get another one, I just would like to get this one to work.

    Thank You,
