16gb 1st gen or 8gb 2nd gen?

    Hey guys, im new here and looking to buy an ipod touch. I dont know what to get because its just to hard to decide! If you can tell me some features of them both and have an oppinion of what i should get, that would be great.

    No, 1G's are cheaper (duh?). Why would people be selling less features + used for $400? 1G 16 GBs are about $220-250

    I'm an owner of the 1G iPod touch 16GB, and it is the best thing I have ever bought. To get a 16GB 2G version of the iPod touch would be a 'killa' LOL. If you can, get a 16GB iPod touch 2G. I don't even know where you can buy a 1G iPod touch anymore anyway. The 8GB will run out of memory in 2 seconds with me, so 16GB+ is highly recommended, unless you hardly ever use it/basic iPod user.

    The new ones cant be jailbroken.. yet. We don't know when they will be jail breakable yet.

    The 1st gen has no problems
