I was using my ipod touch 4g today when i noticed that in the very middle of my screen there is one little tiny pixel that is black. Which from most distances would be unnoticeable, but i was wondering if whether there was a solution to this problem. I tried restarting the ipod, but its as if the one pixel just doesn't one to conform, but stays black unlike the rest. Like i said its very menial, i was just wondering if there was anything to worry about.

Get a pixel un-sticker there is one in the app store. All it does is rapidly flashes colors and it might get it un-stuck.

Says let it run for a little while, but i've been reading that if its black that means its dead so... its not looking good. Anyone else experiencing this or have any other solutions?

Yep, dead pixels are mostly common on OLED screens though. Sucks.

If it gets annoying or bugs you, I would think you could exchange it as a last resort.

So... i'm thinking its probably not going to work. Do you all think i should return it or just live with it. I hear that it can happen again and i guess i can live with it if i can forgot about it.

I personally think you should return it and get your money's worth. You used your heart earned dollars to pay for something you expect to work good with no flaws.
