My iPod touch was recently updated to a Jailbroken 2.0.1 firmware... I have no apps downloaded and installed on it from the appstore. I only have iReboot and IntelliScreen on it which was installed from cydia and i also have the Installer app installed (came with the custom firmware).
I just finished putting my music, videos, and photos on it and for some reason it says i have used up 1.49 gigs of space on the 'other' part. Any one know what this 1.49 gigs is being used for and how i can get rid of that space because I need that memory?

500 I believe... I just kept it at its default setting when i made the firmware...

Here's a pic of my friends iPod touch using the same custom firmware I used on mine.
There is nothing on it (no music, videos, pictures, etc.)
it only uses up 113.1MB so doubt it has anything to do with the Root partition

Isn't "Other" the space where you keep your Apps?

Every time I install/uninstall Apps, it changes size space accordingly.
