I have 1.22 gb of other space listed on my ipod when i connect it to I-tunes, anyone have any ideas. I deleted everything in my alternate library (swaptunes). I deleted all of my emulator games. I checked hte size of the applications folder (50mb). I have no idea where i should turn next. Anyone have any suggestions, must i reformat to 1.11 again then up to 1.12 after installing the jailbrak

Other in iTunes is Applications on the iPod. Have you downloaded any video's via Safari Plugin or something.

Trust me, it's applications or videos/mp3s.

if you deleted them with the finder app then you need to remove them from finder's trash bin as well. i found this out after being in your situation

BINGO! That's exactly the same problem I was having. Found the trash and deleted everything in there. Is there someway to just empty the trash? I ended up deleting every file one by one and that became a bit arduous.

    Thanks!

yeah, you're root in the terminal

be careful with that rm -rf * command. Great way to kill the ipod touch if you're in the wrong directory
