    i went into my ipods files through my computer ......... any ways
    i clicked on properties and it said my frimware version was 1.2.0? and i got a second gen

    Heres what i get
    Model Name: Apple iPod
    Manufacturer: Apple Inc.

    not sure but if you got an ipod try pluging it in and going to my computer and right click on your ipod icon that comes up and go to properties and tell me wat you see

    The ipod touch 2nd gen doesn't support the old firmware. (it doesn't have 8900 parsing).

    Yea but redsnow says that his iPod says he has 1.2.0 firmware. It's probably a glitch but it never hurts to try
