I'm thinking about jbing my new 32 gb, but I already upgraded to 1.1.4, so how can I get back to 1.1.1? Does a normal force restore work?, cause I no u needed to run a special program to restore from 1.1.3-1.1.1. Can I just force restore and get rite back to 1.1.1 and jb?

I haven't tried yet (i am on 1.1.4) but i have gone from 1.1.3 to 1.1.1 without any software. I just restored from 1.1.3 to 1.1.2 to 1.1.1 so i assume you can go from 1.1.4 to 1.1.3 to 1.1.2 to 1.1.1. I don't know if it makes any difference being on a mac - which I used.

    So...good luck

it doesn't, be careful who you listen too!

Lots of folks who don't have a clue give answers and then people screw up there ipods.

I think there is a thread on going back down to 1.1.1 from 1.1.4, I will check and give you a link.
I have heard mixed reviews on the 32gb. Should work for post-mac world devices

My life story/not sure for 32GB

I'll tell you my story on that.
I was on 1.1.3, and i screwed it up somehow, so i had to do a force restore, but i could only go to 1.1.4. Yea, I could've gone to 1.1.1 again, but there's another story to that

Anyways, once at 1.1.4, I underwent the force restore and yes, it IS possible to do a force restore to 1.1.1 if you are on 1.1.4. The thing was that once I had mi iPod connected and it displayed on iTunes, i did the force restore method [Thanks to Oscar Wu

] and there was no image on my iPod. What it did once it was off, it didn't do anything, meaning that it did not turn back on. Fortunately, iTunes recognized that it was in recovery mode and i began the 1.1.1 restore process again.

so that's all to my inquiry to the 1.1.4 downgrade. I'm not sure if it can work on a 32GB, but if installer works on any iPod, i'm sure you can do a force restore on it too.

That's the best idea since it should be soon. Zibri should have gotten his iPod by now to work on. If not here is a link:

Wait, how'd you go from 1.1.3-1.1.2-1.1.1?
