Straight into your iPod. If you want to find it, search iPod1,1_1.1.4_4A102_Restore.ipsw on google then download it.

Nowhere. It downloads it off of iTunes directly into your iPod. Like downloading something directly into a CD. Now if you downloaded it from the internet, it will be in the directory you downloaded it too!

after downloading from itunes it goes directly on your ipod, if you are planning to use pwnagetool/winpwn than you should have downloaded it online and saved it, then shiftclick restore in itunes to restore.
you can search google for a download of it.

When I check my firmware version on my iPod it says "1.1.4(N/A). It used to say "1.1.4. 4A102". Does anyone know why this would change?

Ok to the first one it goes to C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPod Software Updates - to everyone - you know if you plug in your iPod and theres an update you can choose to Download Only!!

Second one- did you use FWChanger?? If you did then you probably set a custom firmware with no Build Version!

Thankyou Nickll9009. I went back into FW Changer and added the proper build version.I don't know how important it is for the build version to be there but it's nice to see that it looks the way it did before. Thanks again!
