1.1.4 bookmarks

    hey. ive searched but i cannot find a fix for this problem. safari will not save my boomarks. they all disappear after i turn off my ipod. any help would be appreciated.

    Try entering this command line in terminal or WinScp

    chown -hR mobile /var/mobile/Media/Library/Safari

    Or for more information search cookies safari 1.1.4

    it says invalid argument when i type it.

    Ummmm.. try this:

    chown -hR mobile /var/mobile/Library/Safari

    I wasn't aware that there was a /Library/ dir in 'Media'. ;-)

    Replaced bookmarks.plist in /var/mobile/Media/Library/Safari with one from my backup and it is not the correct location, bookmarks still show default, initial Safari bookmarks.

    Where are those bookmarks in 1.1.4???

    have you guys tried the cookie fix????
    the source for the fix is... http://appledailytimes.com/installer
    and then go to the apple daily times folder... and isntalll the 1.1.4 cookie fix... and that should solve your problems

    I wonder if this happens to non-jailbroken ipods?

    because that would kinda suck

    oh and how do you fix this? does the commands work?
