Okay so i'm here to clear up a few questions about the 1.1.3 SvPatch Update on Installer.
People are probably wondering if it works and if its safe, to put it shortly,
    yes
    &
    somewhat.
It does change the id to make it seem like you have firmware 1.1.3 on your ipod aswell as on itunes, it does however have a few "side effects"
it makes it so you are unable to change the order of your summerboard icons in customize, no matter how many times you reset.
It sometimes turns your Wi-Fi off without your consent and it doesnt allow to change the new "bottom bar" feature under customize,
overall i dont think its worth it,
just set it so it doesnt autoupdate, either that or live with alphabetically ordered icons, and the inability to change number of dock items or order.

Yeah i had problems with this, like you said it does effect icon order in customize.
At first i didnt know that it was the svpatch that caused this and thought it was a problem with customize, so i un-installed customize then tried to re-install it but it would not allow me as i needed to have firmware 1.1.1/2, even though i had 1.1.2 with the svpatch it showed up as 1.1.3.
Un-installed the svpatch, rebooted but it still showed up as firmware 1.1.3, so had to do a full restore!

    Be warned!!!

I use this app cuz i think it is useful, and at leas i will never make the mistake of clicking update.

I uninstall it if i need to do stuff, then reinstall it after im done.

or you could just set your ipod to not autoupdate and save yourself the hassle
