you could decrypt firmware 1.1.3 with vdfecrypt if you edit the program to work with the 1.1.3 firmware file.
the md5 for the ipod firmware : d5e201ea19b73ffc2649600c64f1ac25
dont know if anyone can or is willing to try this

    no

you need the decrypter AES password, no the MD5 hash from decrypter image

Do you guys understand the 1.1.3 has been jailbroken already? It is just not being released till the SDK, if at all.

    Yep, we certainly do mate.

What do you mean by "...if at all"? The jailbreak will be released, no matter what, guaranteed.

i hope your not attempting to jailbreak the 1.1.3 firmware. If you do, which I doubt you will be able to, just make sure you don't "leak" or release it to the public until after the SDK is released. It's for the good of the hacking world, so Apple can't find a way to patch up the system even more to destroy the jailbreaks.

The "we" is this forum.... as you can see, there are a few threads that are attempting various methods to jailbreak the firmware themselves. I think they're hitting dead ends, but there's no harm in trying, and they might get lucky, you never know.

Ahhh, my appologies.. yes, I do see that there are quite a few members of this board attempting to jailbreak. It's phenomenal to see.

I wish I knew a thing or two about jailbreaking, so that I could help these guys out, but unfortunately, anything I say in regards, the programmers probably already know.
