Yes I do know that the dev team jailbreak isn't an official 1.1.3 jailbreak and it is really 1.1.2 but who cares? Does ZiPhone do anything that it doesn't? If it all thinks that it is 1.1.3 and if you can do 1.1.3 things on it then whats the difference other than its really 1.1.2 other than you knowing because I'm really tired of all these glitches and problems with Ziphone.

    So is there any difference?

    ZiPhone actually Jailbreaks Firmware 1.1.3.

Just start with a fresh 1.1.3. No prior Jailbreaks.

The glitches aren't because of ZiPhone, its because of the compatibility between 1.1.3 and the apps. Most apps haven't been properly updated for 1.1.3 yet.

The dev teams' 1.1.3 is actually a hybrid of 1.1.2 and 1.1.3. Which can cause problems.

lol sorry I didn't explain in a good way. Ummm well what I'm trying to ask here is should I keep using ZiPhone and every week keep getting this spinning circle and forced to restore and do it all over again or should I do the dev team jailbreak which people have explained to me isn't 1.1.3 and 1.1.2.

I guess I'll just wait acouple of days with no Jailbreak

because if I have to wait acouple of days for the SDK then I will.

Also can anyone tell me if there might be a patch or something for the SDK so we don't have to pay or something like that? Again sorry for the confusion Chris Stroud.

You should just restore to 1.1.3 Regular and wait about a week cause the person who made ZiPhone is releasing his iPod Touch version in about a week or so.

The SDK is going to be delayed 1 - 3 weeks. As stated by Businessweek.

ok then. I guess I'm going to say goodbye to jailbreak for awhile then. Its gonna feel like forever. Thanks for the info on the SDK too.

I just read on TUAW that the true version of the SDK like version 1.0 GM will be coming out at WWDC 08 and perhaps a beta version will be put on the ADC this week but probably not until march. anyway, I think that someone already found the keys to the iTunes software distribution service so that we can still put apps on our iPods without the iTunes Store.

Uh, no they didn't... people thought they did, but it was in fact the key for decrypting iPhone firmwares.

Just because things are posted on a blog, it doesn't mean it's fact. By acting like these things are true, all you do is create more confusion.
