    Hey guys,

I was having massive installer problems before but I just used BossTools to move the applications to the media partition. While doing this I took note of the memory available on the Apps partition: 3MB available after only installing three or four apps.

I'm currently experimenting with further installations after running BossTools, will let you know what I find.

Also, for those of you having trouble with SSH, if you can install the iPodTouchFans sources and find the app Net Services, this will help you reactivate SSH if you by change deactivated it somehow like I did...

Update: All seems well on my iPod now, I've installed almost two pages of apps after using BossTools. Hope this helps!

I do believe you're on to something dude,

I just finished re Jailbreaking only to install the terminal and have the installer bork when I tried to install Apollo.... so I checked and this is what I found:

    Code:
Filesystem Size Used Avail Capacity Mounted on
    /dev/disk0s1 280M 276M 1.6M 99% /
    devfs 15K 15K 0B 100% /dev
    /dev/disk0s2 15G 33M 15G 0% /private/var

    1.6meg available!

So... how big is bosstools exactly! :p

OK, my knowledge of symlinks is low.

What are the implications of future Jailbreaks if I move the applications folder using bosstool?

Will I need to "Undo" the link, and how is that achieved?

EDIT: I installed BOSSTOOL and my free space check shows only 3mb free.

I have unistalled all other Apps, so something is wrong here. I am gonna wait to use boss tools to see if there is another solution.....
