if the elite dev team uses ssh and downloads the entire 8 or 16 gb jailbroken firmware and distributes it using *******s or something, and we download it and rewrite the ENTIRE 1.1.2 firmware, apple would not know how it was done, and it would provide everyone the cool stuff.. is this possible?

You have no clue as to what you are talking about. First, this is not possible as the 8 and 16gb models have the same firmware. Next this is so monumental that it is not even funny. In short no, this is not possible.

no because the ipod has sensitive information about the user...and its illegal to post custom ipod firmwares....or at least it was for the video/nano ipods
