Ok, I am fed up with all the misinformation and duplicate posts, so, in true "For NoobS" fashion, an FAQ just for you.....

    Q. Do I Have to pay for 1.1.3?
    A. NO. You dont pay for the firmware, but you do have to pay for the Application pack.

    Q. Can my friend give me HIS paid for Application Pack?
    A. NO. The apps are included in the 1.1.3 update, the license unlocks them and has the purchasers iTunes Account ID information. They Will only work on 1 iPod Touch.

    Q. Can I downgrade 1.1.3 back to 1.1.1 with iTunes?
    A. NO. iTunes will not allow you to downgrade once you are on 1.1.3.

Note: it can be done with 3rd party software but is not for N00Bs, too complicated, read HERE

    Q. Is 1.1.3 jailbroken yet?
    A. NO. Keep an eye on the forums here, trust me, when its done, it will be posted.

Note: Do not open threads titled : "Wen Dis 1.1.3 gunna b haxor0d. STFU. L0Lz"

And to the members of the forum: Please only post FACT, not FICTION.

    Thanks

    Kappa

    Sticky for sure.
    This is great.

I wish I would have never messed with the "Hidden Apps" as
I was VERY happy with my Touch before but now am
stuck with 1.1.3... I miss my games like Solitare.

My advice to all of you who have not upgraded... Don't do
it! Wait for it to be jailbroken

Oh now you look like an A$$ in front of all these people.

If you had clicked the link in the first post you would see that The downgrade there is not done with iTunes.

Take a guess, if you guessed no, you're completely wrong.

Or do you not go by Erica's process??

All other threads on this and many other site says a downgrade from iTunes when on 1.1.3 causes a restore error.

Do your research before posting insults.
