I want to say in advance im sorry if this question has been posted before but the search tool sucks and ive already looked through 3 pages of threads in this section.

Anyways, the problem is I cant jailbreak 1.1.2. I downgraded from 1.1.3 to 1.1.1 and jailbroke it (using jailbreakme.com) and it worked fine. The I installed Oktoprep and updated to 1.1.2 and opened the windows.bar but the window just flashed and then disappered. So then i tried the jailbreak.jar on my mac and it said it couldnt connect to my ipod. Then i noticed that jailbreakme.com installs Oktoprep when it jailbreaks, so i went back to 1.1.1 and tried it again without installing oktoprep from installer and the 1.1.2 jailbreak still did the same thing. Ive tried it numerous times over and still no luck. So can somebody please help me!!!!!

To fix this, make sure you have java installed.

Then, download the 1.1.2 jailbreak from HERE.
    http://conceitedsoftware.com/iphone/1.1.2-jailbreak.zip

    Then, run the jailbreak.jar
    ENJOY YOUR JAILBREAK!

(Thanks planetbeing and the Dev team for this)
