I clicked on update to download the new 1.1.2 and it downloads the whole thing and then says that there was a download error, check settings and internet connection. The number was (-48). I have tried 3 times and it wont work!

I need some help please. I have done a search and havent got any results!

Thanks guys for all the help you provide!

i had the same problem. heres how you fix it on Windows

    1. On your computer go to /C:/Documents and Settings/[your user]/Application Data/Apple Computer/iTunes/iPod Software Updates

2.Delete all the files in that folder

    3.Download 1.1.2 update again.

Good luck. it worked for me

I wouldn't delete the 1.1.1 file, just in case you want/need to go back!
