    faster

it helps the ipod not stall
this sometimes happens to me i will just be listening to music and when i pres the "next" button it will just stall
altough i don't like it because it is harder to jailbreak

as long as theres a way to jailbreak whatever the newest firmware is, I will be using it!

I trust apple to make the ipod do what they wanted it to do in the first place as well as possible (safari, music, videos...)

but if i cant put on my own apps then screw it!

There are lots of other threads about this... but given how easy it is to bring your jailbroken 1.1.1 into 1.1.2, it's definitely worth it. It does seem faster - although I don't imagine it's a significant actual speed increase. Perhaps "more responsive" is a good description. It seems a little more stable, although it's not like it was crash-prone before.

Certain hacks/applications like Customize seem to work much better.

Best of all - and this is completely subjective - it sounds better. Really. Cleaner and fuller. I think it sounds better than my old 30GB photo or 1st gen nano. Crazy.

For these reasons, it's worth upgrading. I agree totally with the poster who said as long as the jailbreak works on the next version (or as long as it is re-breakable), I'll be updating.

The international keyboards, the TIFF exploit is fixed (although that can be done through jailbreakme.com and others), no keyboard lag, the edit calendar button, and I think that's all the standard features they did with it.
