    Hi guys,
    dont laugh, but i am still sitting on jailbroken 1.1.1...

    (had it since practically the beginning of jailbreaking days

    )
    i have it set up exactly as i like it, with all the needed apps installed, so i guess i am simply too lazy to spend time re-jailbreaking and re-installing..
    so if anyone has gone from 1.1.1 to 1.1.4, what are the main advantages?
    is it worth it? or should i just wait till 2.0?

    convince me!

    I would completely and totally recomend upgrading to 1.1.4 because:

    -Lyrics Support
    -Customizable Home Screen
    -Compatible with ALL apps
    -Better audio quality
    -Most stable with jailbreak

    ^Just to name a few, plus you feel good knowing you are up to date with everybody else

    yeah dont be afraid to switch over, if you dont wanna loose your apps just back them up through iphone PC suite or manually through SSH. very easy to jailbreak too not like the old days.

    Improved Audio Quality, Yes

    But i'm not sure about battery life... I never heard anything about battery life being better on 1.1.4 so its probly not true...

    In fact, it cant have better battery life, how could a firmware update change your hardware, exactly it cant so.. No better battery life, but yes better sound.

    It is possible to improve battery life with changes in firmware. They could do so simply by streamlining their coding and putting less stress on the hardware. I doubt it was a major improvement in battery life, as I don't really notice it myself. But apparently some improvements were made.
