1.1.1 and 1.1.2 jailbreak

    i was just wondering when u get an ipod touch, is it 1.1.1 or does it come upgraded with 1.1.2, cause i wanted to jailbreak it on 1.1.1, is there something on installer that lets you downgrade it

    i dont want to have it updated to 1.1.2 i just want it to be 1.1.1 and if i buy it as 1.1.2 how can i just downgrade it to 1.1.1 then jailbreak it

    You can restore it by downloading the 1.1.1 firmware here.
    Then press and hold the Shift key and click on restore in iTunes.
    Now choose the file you just downloaded.

    Follow This Guide to jailbreak it from 1.1.1 to 1.1.2.

    thanks, i didnt want to go through all the work of trying to jailbreak it to 1.1.2 even if it fixes youtube just a little, its not worth it to me

    I think you should, and it is pretty eassssyyyy. I mean look at how the jailbreak was first like for the 1.1.1 You had to do a million steps, and it was complicated. Here it is pretty easy, octoprep, update, run windows, and bam! And ipodtouchmaster's videos help big time for doing it! So yea.
