    good new to people who can't afford the monthly deal. Off their website:

    iPhone is coming soon for Pay & Go

    Customers will soon be able to enjoy all the great features of iPhone without a monthly contract with the iPhone for Pay & Go.

    Just register your interest opposite and we'll drop you a line in early July to tell you what you need to do to be one of the first to get your hands on the new 3G iPhone.

    More information on the new iPhone will be available shortly so come back in a few days or visit www.apple.com

    yeh, if its payg you just gotta get an iphone. I knw this would happen cause now poor people will buy it ^^

    You do realise they'll probably double the price of it, being a PAYG handset... as with pretty much all other handsets.

    they already had a payg plan for the iphone just they didnt advertise it. and then they took it off the iphone when dozens of people were buying refurbished iphones and not setting up the plan at home so they can sell it on ebay unlocked n jailbroken for double of what they paid for. its completely not worth it anyway. your looking at a minimum price of $80 a month for it and that just covers some minutes and the data. and they still require a credit or debit card to start it up (at least over here in new york they do) so unless you REALLY dont want the contract, or you REALLY want the higher speed of the 3g edge. then id suggest getting a t-mobile plan or the flex plan with t-mobile. its cheaper but a bit slower. and it works fine (aside from being a tad bit slower)
