      It fixes crashes. It is supposed to faster, but I don't see a difference, and I don't use it.

      dpkg -i /tmp/cydia_1.0.3366-1_iphoneos-arm.deb
      type that in after u do what u just did.

      Now open up Mobile Terminal and type these commands:
      su
      *password here* (default is *alpine*.)
      dpkg -i /tmp/cydia_1.0.3366-1_iphoneos-arm.deb

      And put it in /private/var/tmp/

      It lets you set the 0755 permissions for everything in that folder.

      Yeah, that's normal. Now make sure you set permissions recursively. (There should be a little box for that under, "Octal."

      Just copy it. Right Click after it is done copying, and click, "Properties," and set 0755 under, "Octal."
