2012 will be an interesting year for the presidency race. You got Obama for the democrats, and a a few interesting people for the Republicans. Personally Im going for Ron Pual

I do agree with the race played a major role in his election. I think some people voted for him because he is a African American & not because of his experience (which btw, he did didly squat when he was a senator)
I for one am glad that we have a African American as president. It showed our country has passed the ignorance that was displayed for 100+ years. But liberals always seem to bring up the topic on race.
Plus I might add that it was the democrats that wanted to keep slavery back in the 1800's

Yeah. I've been called a racist white man (and I'm not even full white, I'm a eurasian) by a few people for simply disagreeing with Obama's policies. Liberals are quick to pull the race card on people. IMO, liberals are the real racists. They are the one who keeps pulling up the topic on race.

Not all of them are liberal. Especially in the Orange County area. Yes they do bring up bush a lot, and when I say I disagree with Obama, they call me a racist.

A majority of people our age are liberals due to the fact our whole school system is taught with a liberal bias. Many professors and teachers are left leaning. It's not that it's "cool", it's because we where taught to think that way

I have actually. There are some here (Chicago) but most of the time I see them is when I visit California. Those people are just plain ignorant and loud. People always think I'm a liberal (mainly due to the way i dress (hipsterish) and they surprised when they found out that I'm a moderate right wing person

Liberals are fun to argue with. I deal with them almost everyday.

I still wanna do political science (I've wanted to get into politics since I was a little kid, I was raised in a conservative house and my dad got me into politics at age 7 lol) but I really don't know. I'm also into the arts (theater and photography)

I'm also going into my second year. Originally I was going to UIC to major in Political Science, but I went to a Community College instead. Although next spring I will (hopefully) transfer off to Columbia College (Which is one of the largest art schools here in Amurrica.)
