I use the over under technique to wrap my headphones. Then you put it in a case; this is the most important part of protecting your headphones as it'll prolong the life of headphones greatly. If you don't have a case or pouch (closed from the environment (many Skull Candy case/pouches don't do this with their cheap mesh cover), buy a cheap zip case (something like this, or this will suffice for the use).
