To add, many members probably wanted to voice their opinions couldn't... Why? If they sided with the mods (on their own behalf) they got a post back similar to this one or were simply called kiss-asses as quoted here... Now you didn't do any name calling at all (I'm not going to say you did, you were one of the better ones), I thank you for that (and respect you a lot more as well).

For the record, the only insult/actual attack we made (personal fallacious attack) by any of the mods was done by Meikura, which I will admit was out of line. Looking over the threads a few times, everything else said was fair game on the mod's side as it was a structured, logical, argument (Aristotelian or Socratic Argumentation used). Spirat and I both tried to avoid fallacies to keep as clean as possible. Debate/argument is good for the forum in some senses.

I'm sorry you felt like you were attacked. We were tired of seeing that idea posted on the forums (plain and simple, we just wanted it to die. Bringing it back alive was just annoying, especially what happened the day before). It didn't have to blow up like that, you are absolutely right. Both sides needed to listen to each other as well, it was a double sided sword. I never saw you as superior to me, or me superior to you, my actions did show that. Never once did I insult anyone, or state I was better. Same with Spirit. Meikura made one bad statement (I said it already, I would like to apologize if that insulted you).

To end, I would also like to apologize if you felt you were attacked/disrespected by any of the mods or myself. Nothing was done on purpose. I do thank you for not making another thread on it. The topic really needs to just die for a little while. I hope this can really just bury the hatchet for good and laugh at this one day.

I trying to explain how it was failed before using the same approach you suggested. For some reason BGizzle didn't like it. We were both on high horses. Things happened, thigs went down. BGizzle normally never voices his opinions on things. It's rare. If he does, it's a simple no. If he feels like implementing he does it privately and notifies the mods through the moderation forum. Again in private (as opposed to public).

Hope this "we were sent here to fix iFans" mentality can get behind you guys. That was not the intent at all. The intent was to give second chances to old members that helped in the past. It has helped in some ways, but failed in others. IFans is always changing, and will continue to do so. this forum will never be anything near what \i\ is like. I'm telling you this now. Different motives behind each forum/site/chat room.

This is all I'm going to say about this topic now.

      Night,

      Marcus

Just in case you didn't read it, I don't want another thread about the like button popping up again. It goes nowhere, absolutely nowhere. If you want something like \i\, there is only one place to get that. iFans != \i\, it never will. Now, if you go behind my back and open one up, I will warn you, if you do it again, I'll ban you. I'm trying to be as nice as I can, but there is a line. You've crossed it many times.

I just realized there is a member here by the username of JoeyB. How ironic. PS. He's just below this message :P

Check yourself before you wreck yourself, mister. Your ghetto talking ways will soon be the end of you.
