      Yeah I get kicked out at the end of the year because I'll be 20 as well. At our club we fly mostly thermals, we don't have any decent mountains to find ridge lift for a good 100 k's. I'll let you know when I go solo.

      In the UK, I see, I'm in the Air Training Corps equivalent here in Australia, the Australian Air Force Cadets (which used to be called the Air Training Corps). I'm flying a PW-6 at the moment, but in a civvy club, I also did a couple of weeks in a 30 year old Bocian; I'm about a month or so off solo.
