well i yanked apart an old cd burner and found what i think is the lasers and ive tried to wire a 9 volt to the contacts but im a noob so im just playing around right now. not sure what to do. no luck w/ the 9 volt.

so i been watchin youtube vids on how to make a super powerful laser out of the laser in a DVD burner. they laser this guy makes lights matches and stuff and i really wana try that sept i dont have any DVD burners i can tear into. do you know anything about this?

so im about to buy a 30mw pointer off ebay for 24.99 buy it now. it also does the star projection thing that im not that interested in but still sounds cool.
