      Yes, but I wanted a non-destructive partition and Disk Utility can be finicky. It used to be easier to just use Boot Camp Assistant but not so much any more. Just be careful it doesn't zap your current drive and/or you have it backed up prior.

      It was interesting. I had to edit the info.plist file on my MBA so it would make a bootable USB flashdrive. Previously you could use Boot Camp Assistant and it would make the partition first and then you could change it to Mac OS Journaled and then the reverse to remove it. Now it starts the actual install process on a reboot after the partition is made. I did in fact stop it early but not sure I would recommend that for the normal user. I had to hold the option key to select the boot drive to get it up and running again. Then I just formatted back to Mac OS and ran the installer from my App Store app.
