I just have the kit lens and a 200mm lens (wish it was a 300mm but it came in a package from Costco). I'm hoping to soon get a dedicated macro.
I can't take a good picture without a tripod. My VR lenses do help, but sometimes, camera shake is inevitable. Especially for macro shots, which I like to take.
Well, the tripod is sort of necessary, but I didn't try to convince you to buy the software and video. I have neither, which is why I linked you to the free versions.

Haven't really taken any landscapes, but I will eventually. BTW you can get Photomatix lite. It is the exact same as the full version, but it adds a watermark to your image.
