I agree with everything you said tho, for once. I know your going to argue about vita graphics tho, but just think, is it not true? Vita is perfect for a lot of graphic whores like yourself, but would you feel pissed off in anyway with revelations on vita with its current graphics? Does 3ds not have a good graphics output? Isn't it impressive for its size, the fact it came out a year earlier and that its a lot cheaper to boot? Doesn't it do a great job of hiding its weak point graphically in order to bring visuals that look as good as vita games in some degree? Is 3ds not satisfying enough graphically for most gamers? If you think not, well the 10's of millions of people who bought a 3ds and the millions who have played the revelations demo and praise the graphics as some of the best on a handheld period would disagree with you.
I feel 3ds does a good job of keeping up and I wouldn't be surprised if development cost were cheaper then vita and also the 3ds has a bigger user base for devs to capitalize on and if the ds and wii were anything to by, 3ds is gonna sell epicly.
I guess monster hunter on 3ds makes sense tho right? 3ds is the new PSP in terms of the people its being pushed to in many ways. Ds was all about getting people to play games. 3ds is about turning these casuals into more competent gamers with high skill level games like 3d land while tapping into the the hardcore crowd with 3ds. I wouldn't be surprised if PSP fans prefer 3ds with it getting games like resi, kingdom hearts. Mgs, monhun etc. A lot of Sony fans will undoubtedly prefer vita with Sony games etc but you can't deny 3ds‘ demographic clashes with this and has a lot of Sony fan favorite games. And from a development standpoint it makes sense. Graphics look vita territory with the smaller screen and advanced effects. Vitas obviously more powerful on paper but is it actually visually different enough to effect the average gamer like myself when revelations looks as amazing as it does?.
I just don't want you to think revelations is like resi 5 or 6. Revelations is action packed but in a different way. Its not trigger happy, but it is high on adrenaline and story emphasis. Its directed by resi 5 director which is intresting.
Also glad you are honest with your feelings in regards to SCE. Sony dropped the ball this Gen. However its not their fault entirely. Microsoft have a sh*t tonne of money and 360 seems to be the devs choice of hardware this Gen and its not feasible to be exclusive these days, even kojima is going more to the Xbox fan base with rising. All I can say is tho,Nintendo are the best XD
Resident evil did indeed start on PlayStation, but that's different right? We are talking about a specific port. Monster hunter started on ps2 but that doesn't mean 3ds wasn't going to get a port of tri right? Both these games were more likely to be ported to 3ds because of that specific games history with Nintendo, not to be deterred by the franchises roots with PS. Agreed?

Re4 in 3ds makes soo much more sense. They already have similar games on the system (revelations and mercs) and its in the same graphical ball park as 3ds Also, need I remind you re4 was a Nintendo exclusive at first? Its coming back home. Vitas supposed to get current Gen ports not gamecube/ps2/wii ports. Also there will never be a resi6 on vita. Also lol at calling revelations an action game. Lol
I really f***ing hope revelations does well. This is for the future of gaming, not just 3ds. 3Ds will survive without it with Luigi's mansion 2, ki, kingdom hearts, paper Mario, Zelda etc but revelations will be the test. If revelations does well, we will see more mainline and high quality games on handheld This is one of the highest quality games I've ever seen, on f*** Nintendo handheld tho? Wtf that's unheard of. Who would have guessed. For a 3rd party dev to make a high quality game in a Nintendo handheld with Mario kart and mario 3d destroying everything else in its path takes balls. Here's hoping for resi 4 port on 3ds!
