That's pretty epic. Why don't you ask him to try to finish it off? He could sell it for $5 a shot and make a fortune off it. The CopyScape feature is clever but it would only be useful if you took your Mac everywhere with you - Whereas it has more functionality on a mobile device that you put in your pocket. Yeah, I've got a friend who made this: http://www.geekygoodness.com/ and it's all PHP and the CMS is pretty flash too - Which he made all from scratch. It even has a facebook-style chat for his bloggers :p But we wouldn't need anything that flash - just basic like Wordpress but a little better. Wow that's impressive :| We will be looking for a PHP based blog closer to release date, would have to speak to Chris first too and try and work something out. What did SchoolRoom do? It sounds impressive and it's just given me more ideas that I can't be bothered to write down :p
Bug fixes and 2 more ideas we're trying to implicate. One of them's very difficult and Chris is finding it hard to add it... so that's why it's gonna take a while. But! I'm sure that it will be worth it in the end :
We were thinking of making a seperate Flashcard app, but you've got the right idea of SchoolKit - We designed it around ourselves, so everyone else will be in our shoes too :) :p
Basically, SchoolKit is an "ultimate tool for school." I can't reveal too much, but I'm working with an experienced coder to bring my ideas to the App Store. It will have everything you need to help you through a school day - Not as extreme as a Graphical Calculator, but so basic that you won't realise how much you need them until you have SchoolKit. It has a feature which is not on the AppStore yet, and I'm being awkward about revealing it because I know someone will steal it - But I hope to get it out by the end of November :\
