Geez, it sounds like you need some titanium for your chassis plate on the LST. Ti has better torquing properties than aluminum. Anyways, I made that body by measuring out some cardboard and taping it together, then using spray-paint to color it. It was kinda weird painting bottom layer first, being used to lexan bodies and all. The duct tape is just to hold it together as it got torn up pretty quick. (obviously )
Haha yup. How'd you like the body in this pic? http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=43806953&albumID=2813183&imageID=63014893#a=2813183&i=63014911 Wow you really have carbon differentials in your Savage? Unless by carbon you mean diamond, that seems easily destructible... I use steel 4 gear setups. Your Jammin sounds pretty awesome!
Yup, I just put some up on my myspace. http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewPicture&friendID=43806953&albumId=2813183
Geez, another one?! Haha, it's not too many until the garage and the living room run out of space! I have a Savage SS from 2004-ish, although it's so modified you can't even tell it's that old of a model anymore. I guess with all the money I've spent on it, I could have just gotten a newer car or two by now.
I built my track before I found our local rc club and I raced my brother. It does take some work and some upkeep, but I had fun doing it. I didn't spend much, if anything, when I built it either. You could have other people race at ur track if u make it nice. Either way racing with other people is always more fun.
