      I struck gold! I found scrap computer parts at school and since my dad is the head maintenance there I was alowed to keep what I found. I got 4 1gb RAM cards so I can upgrade my tower which has one 256mb and one 512mb. I've learned a lot in the last 2 weeks.

      Ok...a broken tower has a working usb chip that plugs in the motherboard that works. I like how theres a place to put a secret usb device in there. I pluged it in a random slot next to the ethernet port because it fit and it didnt work. Does each slot do something specific?

        Oh, looks like it's just a regular USB port to me. Never seen one inside the computer like that, only ever seen these http://www.usbman.com/Reviews/Belkin_Quafdraport_F5U006-UNV.jpg You say it doesn't work? Maybe it's broken, is it used? Also, maybe it requires drivers to work. Never used one myself but I imagine it's not a plug and play.
