Last week, Major Nelson announced 40 apps are coming to Xbox Live in the next couple of months, including many high-profile apps like CrunchyRoll, Deezer, Livesport.tv, and The CW Network.
As promised, a handful of these apps have been appearing for Xbox Live users within the past 24 hours. The most notable is Vimeo, which can be controlled by voice or hand gestures using the Kinect peripheral. You can also play videos in your queue lists continuously.
AOL On is available only to U.S users and IGN is expanding to users in Australia and New Zealand. Existing apps are also getting juicy updates. Verizon FiOS subscribers can now watch 49 more channels, including AMC HD, NFL Network, Disney HD, History Channel HD, EPIX HD, PBS Kids Sprout and more.

Today Microsoft is expanding their boundaries a bit with today’s release of “My Xbox Live” for iOS. The app allows for you to manage your Xbox Live profile on your Apple smartphone or tablet. Sadly, there’s no gaming included, so if you came seeking this then you’ll have to continue to wait.
