Review: Seta Stand

1.0 Innovations | Universal Stand/Dock/Mount | $29.00[IMG]Stands and docks are all over the place nowadays. Most of them are thick, heavy, blocks that use their weight to keep them standing. Each seem to be specifically targeted towards a device or family of devices. If they aren’t, they have clunky adjustable arms that make them overly large. The Seta Stand, but 1.0 Innovations, is a stand that is made to be sleek, lightweight, and universal.  (more…)

Review: Marshall Monitor

Marshall | Over-Ear Headphones | $200.00[IMG]

When Marshall first entered the headphone business, it didn’t come with the bang that they wanted. Lately, though, they have stepped up their game. The Major 50th Anniversary Edition proved to be the first of their better models. Like Skullcandy, Marshall obtained a new engineer to tune their headphones. It’s been almost two years, and Marshall has finally released their first set of over-ear headphones, the Monitor. It’s a big progressive step forward for Marshall overall.  (more…)

Review Munitio Nines

Munitio | In-Ear Monitors | $169.00[IMG]Munitio is a new company to the iFans community. Some of us may have heard of them before, but many have not. Their Nines are not a new product, rather a relaunch of a successful one that has been redesigned for the current age. Housed inside the copper is a 9mm driver that powers the Nines; it’s one reason for its naming.  (more…)

Review: Harman Kardon BT

Harman Kardon | Over-Ear BlueTooth Headphones | $ 249.95
Harman Kardon may not be too well known in the headphone business, but its branches are: JBL, AKG, etc. They are legendary when it comes to speaker systems, but never really entered the headphone business too much themselves. Recently, they broke through offering a line of in-ears, over-ears, and an on-ear model. The BT, as the name could suggest, is their Bluetooth model that uses an over-ear design.  (more…)

Review: I-Mego Ztone

I-Mego | In-Ear Monitors | $ 99.99
To be honest, I never saw I-Mego as a company that could appeal to the audiophile masses with neutral, accurate reproduction. That opinion has since changed as the Ztone proved to be able to deliver this type of sound, but also give the bass-heads exactly what they want with the swap of tips. The Ztone were designed to be a nice studio-style IEM that is very stylish.  (more…)

Review: Ferrari by Logic3 R300

Logic3 | Over-Ear Headphones | $ 349.00
Red, black, silver, and sporty. All of these are classical Ferrari coloring schemes. This scheme finds its way into the new Ferrari by Logic3 headphone. Matching the price of their other flagship, the T350, the R300 holds a slightly different signature, but offers the same exact package as the flagship brother, but in a more portable package.  (more…)

Review: Dunu Detonator (DN-22M)

Dunu | In-Ear Monitor | $ 45.00

Dunu’s lower-tier offerings have always been some of my favorite. The previously reviewed DN-12, the Trident, is one of my biggest recommendations in the < 50 dollar price range. The DN-22 aims to offer the same type of value being in the same price range, but it also comes equipped with a remote and mic for smartphone use. Dunu’s able to capture the same value that was in the Trident in their new Detonators.  (more…)

Review: Braven BRV-1

[IMG]Braven | Speaker | $ 179.99

Braven is a company that seems to have their focus in the bluetooth speaker market. In the dense world of audio, it seems that a new BT speaker pops up every day. Like the previous couple I’ve recently reviewed, this one is spec’d to be waterproof as well. The overall audio quality isn’t too bad either.  (more…)

Review: Atomic Floyd Powere Jax

Atomic Floyd | In-Ear Monitor | $ 150.00

Atomic Floyd has become a company that I’ve learned to respect. Their design aspects are very unique and stand out of a crowd. They are very attractive, but don’t skimp when it comes to the sound that the headphones pump out. Their combination of these two makes the PowerJax a very great IEM in its price bracket.  (more…)

Review: OlloClip

OlloClip | Detachable Lens | $ 69.99

With each iteration of the iPhone, Apple has included minute upgrades to the camera. With the iPhone 5, a new lens was placed on it. Phone cameras have improved vastly in the past few years. Their flexability, however, has remained quite constant. They make great point ‘n shoots, and everyone knows that the best camera is the one on you. The OlloClip hopes to extend the power of the iPhone’s camera by supplying a lens.  (more…)
