iPhone 6 could have additional built-in sensors

iPhone 5S FrontAdditional details are beginning to emerge about the next-generation iPhone. According to a report from Chinese microblog Weibo, the so-called “iPhone 6″ could feature a number of different built-in sensors for temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure‚Ķ

The addition of these sensors would better align the iPhone 6 with the Galaxy S5 and other competing smartphones, many of which are already equipped with the latest technologies. The current lineup of iPhones contain an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor and compass.

The next-generation iPhone is expected to have a larger 4.7-inch screen at possibly a higher resolution. It is believed that the handset will continue to pack an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, with an improved sensor and new iOS 8 features.
