Samsung Galaxy S5 announced

Samsung Galaxy S5Samsung today unveiled its next-generation Galaxy S5 smartphone, living up to several hardware specifications leaked in the past few weeks. The handset features a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 2.5 GHz quad-core processor, 3 GB of RAM, a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 2,800 mAh battery and Android KitKat 4.4…

The all-new Galaxy S5 has a similar appearance to its predecessor, although its glossy, plastic backing is now made with a softer, plush material akin to the first-generation Nexus 7 tablet. The device will be sold in “charcoal black, shimmery white, electric blue and copper gold” starting April 11th. Pricing details have not yet been disclosed.
