iOS 7.1 to be released in mid-March with additional enterprise features

AppleInsider is reaffirming a December report from of BGR that Apple is planning to release iOS 7.1 in mid-March, following a very long beta testing period. iOS 7.1 carries countless bug fixes and overall enhancements to the iOS 7, which was released in September. It also will patch the exploit used by evasi0n7 to jailbreak the latest OS.

AppleInsider also reports that there will be new mass-deployment and device management features in iOS 7.1, which are targeted at enterprises and educational venues. These features will likely require an online component, which is part of the reason why the release of iOS 7.1 will be in March.
