The latest version of iOS, 7.0.5, was released recently to “correct network provisioning for some iPhone 5s and 5c models sold in China” (Apple). While iPhone 5s and 5c users outside of China have no need to update past 7.0.4, the update was pushed to some iPhone models sold in other Pacific countries as well as Europe. Those who accidentally updated–or live in China and therefore need the update–can now jailbreak their devices, thanks to an Evasi0n update released today.
Pod2g, a member of the evad3rs, has taken to Twitter to let us know the update is available now.
If you’re already running iOS 7.0.4, there’s no reason to update. You’re fine where you are. However, if you’re located in China and have already updated, a jailbreak is now available for you at evasi0n.com.
