Screenshots show off changes to Apple’s ‘iOS in the car’ design

Steve Troughton-Smith, a figure noted for various iOS-related leaks, recently published various screenshots to his Twitter account of what appears to be Apple’s upcoming design for the “iOS in the car” initiative. This initiative was announced last year at WWDC, but has taken time to come to market because of the way the automotive industry functions.

The screenshots seem to have been taken in the iOS simulator. It’s not clear how Troughton-Smith was able to activate this mode, but it shows various design changes from what was the original plan. The top screenshot is what appears in the iOS simulator, while the bottom image comes from Apple’s website.
