StatusHUD 2 jailbreak tweak released, supports iOS 7 and 64-bit ARM

Yesterday, StatusHUD developer Alan Yip took to Twitter to let the jailbreak community know that he was planning on releasing the sequel to his popular tweak “tomorrow.” Well, today is now tomorrow, and the iOS 7-compatible, ARM 64-supported, StatusHUD 2 update has been released.

For those unfamiliar, StatusHUD was a tweak released last summer for iOS 6 which takes the volume heads up display (normally a frosty pop-up on iOS 7) and puts the dots in the status bar where the device time normally resides. When you change the volume, the time slides out to reveal the current volume level and, when you’re done, slides right back into view.

The first version of StatusHUD was $0.99, but StatusHUD 2 is available right now on Cydia for absolutely free. You’ll find it on the BigBoss repo.
