As a predominantly Apple site, we aren’t as interested in CES as most people. But for a lot of the technology industry, CES is the largest and most public tradeshow of the year, and it starts next week.
There will be announcements that affect Apple. Primarily, CES serves as an excellent way for companies to show off their accessories for Apple’s iDevices. Of course, those tend to be lost in the crowd, but larger product announcements do stick out. Other smarpthone manufacturers also take part in the event, though there aren’t any major devices expected from the likes of Samsung, Sony, HTC, LG, or Motorola.
Personally, I’m interested to see what T-Mobile does at its keynote. T-Mobile is easily the best value for a carrier in the US, even if its network isn’t perfect. I’m also interested to see LG’s webOS TV. What are you looking forward to?
