Just two days after delaying the white iPhone until Spring, Apple has wiped out all mention of the mythical device from their online store. This may have been done to keep customers from pestering them for an ETA, or because Apple doesn’t actually plan on releasing a white iPhone 4.
With the Verizon iPhone soon to come (hopefully), and the yearly refresh due out next June, it wouldn’t make any sense for Apple to continue manufacturing a device that would be obsolete the second it hits the shelves. Apple learned their lesson from Antennagate, and will undoubtedly be changing the hardware design for the next-gen iPhone, so there is really no point. “Spring 2011″ is awfully close to Summer, so I’m betting that the next white iPhone we see will not be a 4.
