iOS 7.1 release expected in March as third beta is seeded to testing partners

icono-ipswFor those anticipating the release of iOS 7.1 for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, it could be a much longer wait than originally planned. According to Jonathan Geller at BGR, a public release of iOS 7.1 is not expected until March, and the company has just now began seeding the third beta of the software to testing partners.

Apple traditionally releases an iOS update in the January timeframe, although iOS in the Car is suspected to be the reason behind the delay. iOS 7.1 is also expected to contain multiple bug fixes and some new features, although the source for Geller was unwilling to elaborate on what exactly is new.
