If you still believe in the credibility of Taiwanese blog DigiTimes, which has a mixed track record at reporting rumors, expect for Apple to release both larger-sized iPhones and iPads next year.
According to the report, the larger iPhone will arrive in May with unspecified screen dimensions. The iPhone 5s has a 4-inch screen, while competitors such as Samsung and Sony have gone above 5-inches with their smartphones.
The report claims that a 12.9-inch iPad will follow suit in October, although a 13.3-inch screen has also been rumored. The tablet will be manufactured by Quanta Computer, and there is a possibility it will replace the 11-inch MacBook Air in Apple’s product lineup. The more credible Wall Street Journal reported in July that Apple was testing larger screens for its iOS devices, although it was unclear if those designs would be pushed to market.
